john: DYLAN MCKAY IS THE BEST CHARACTER EVER!!! I want to marry him.
carl: 90210 sucks. clearly the OC is far superior.
so back to the question at hand... i loved them all. i guess i'd have to say dylan. although i'd also love to see what some of those random characters are up to...emily valentine, all of donna's old boyfriends who she wouldn't sleep with...or maybe the noxema girl isn't really dead after all.
Joe E. Tata (Nat from the Peach Pit)- I want him to become an alcoholic Vampire Hunter in Des Moines, Iowa. Nat is trying to find a way to stop his only surviving family member (his estranged cousin, Oliver) from becoming a nightwalker. Along with his faithful companion, Nuts the retarded squirrel, they fight for the fate of his family and indeed the world. This fall on the new CW...
Well it is obvious isnt it? Doesnt everyone want to see those cheesy pearly whites again? STEVE SANDERS! However only if he grows back his bizarre blonde curly mullet. Maybe they should bring back David Silver's old friend Scotty who David socially squashed resulting in Scott shooting himself a cowboy themed birthday party (I'd totally shoot my gun at a cowboy party if you get me drift!!)oh and everyone wants to see mr and mrs walsh.
I was going to say Kelly Taylor simply because I would be interested to see what awful cliche things would happen to her in her 30s or 40s (how old are they?) but after reading other people's answers I am totally curious about Emily Valentine.
This is John - I have to post like this because I can't get Google to stop spamming me.
Clearly this question deserves more thought than I have time to give, but I will try: Firstly, I was under the impression that Kelly Taylor is supposed to return as a fashion professor or something, and that Andrea's daughter will be the editor of the paper. That aside, you can't bring back a Dylan in this day and age, a character/director mix of Luke Perry and Darren Star comes along once, maybe twice in 100 years. The secret to Dylan, and why we will never see another character like him in our lifetime, is because the producers had the wherewithall to only give him 10 minutes of screen time during each show for the 1st and 2nd seasons. Much like Spielberg did in Jaws, Dylan is intimidating not because of what we see, but only because of what we anticipate - there will certainly be the attempt to create the "bad boy" character in the spinoff, but I doubt the directors and writers will have the guts to let that character take two entire episodes off to find himself in Baja, while fan clamor for his appearance. - Therefore, I think we need to see a good, solid Brandon character. There really is nothing more refreshing than the guy taking the harder right every time. With the exception of Emily slipping U4EA into his drink, he was always the guidepost for our generation. Before every tough decision, I still ask myself: "what would Brandon do here?"

Just hoping that Andrea Zuckerman come back wearing Depends.
Oooh Douglas Emerson, aka Scott David Silver's nerdy best friend.
Oh, wait, his character killed himself in season 1 or 2. Boy do I look silly.
Hmm. But, it's Beverly Hills so I am sure some cosmetic surgeon could fix him up.
Screech

Hmm..Brenda. If only to have Shannon Doherty back onscreen.
Emily Valentine for sure.
