i would say Duck Hunt. but my family didnt have nintendo....we had Atari. and my fav atari games are Frogger, Joust and War of Worlds. and i really liked playing Where in the World is Carmen San Diego? on my mom's old old mac computer.
renee wouldn't let us have a nintendo so i had to play at trisha's. i loved duck hunt and the olympics on the power pad. the long jump was the best. when i was allowed to have a gameboy (pretty much to keep me quiet while driving to swim meets) i liked basic tetris.
so i am boring but classic...super mario 2...something about being able to pick your character, and then be the princess who could slide all around, or Toad who could bop people really fast...I don't think i ever beat the whole game though, i could only play when i went to my cousin's house.
i wasn't allowed to have nintendo when i was little. (although apparently my parents became a little lax with ben...SO unfair) i used to love to play super mario at my friends' houses.

If I say Jeopardy, am I extra lame? I'm thinking yes.

Wait! No! Dr. Mario. I totally forgot about pill tetris.
T&C Surf Design or Excite Bike.

Zelda
I can not be the only geek who was hooked on the original Legend of Zelda...
Also, Metroid, the Castlevania series (loved the not-quite-right translations from Japanese to English), Contra, RC Pro Am...
But my alllllllllll time favorite was probably Mike Tyson's Punch-Out. Loved it. Wanna play it right now.
Zelda, Mike Tyson's Knock Out, and Street Fighter 2 (dhalsim is the man).

Street Fighter I loved until the awful movie with Van Damme and Kylie came out. Then I rejected it.

Also, Blades of Steel. Best hockey game ever.
Ob, but was Street Fighter 2 on Nintendo or Super Nintendo?? Feast on that.
Original Mario.
We beat the first level and then they said "your princess is in another castle." WHAT!? Another castle! We were not happy.
the only good game was River City Ransom.
