Penn Station, Wednesday. It was baffling.
The last time I saw someone use a payphone was a drag queen at 17th & Q Streets. It was outside Club Chaos, and she was the waitress during drag bingo. SHe was a whole lot of woman!
New York - On 5th or Madison (I can't remember).
in the metro - and the conversation looked heated. Pay phone receivers are to your ears what public toilets are to your butt. They should have disposable ear covers.FYI - the last time I saw mass people using them was on 9/11 as the networks were all down. Creepy. This is a long comment...
There was a woman on a pay phone in the bathroom at Lauriol Plaza on Friday night. It was oddly weird.
Skid Row, 1986.
I saw this guy go into a phone booth and when he came out his glasses were gone and he was wearing a cape...do you think that's weird??
I saw the same weird woman in the bathroom of Lauriol Plaza. I bet the person on the other end heard some interesting background noise.Who puts a phone in a bathroom??!
Colin Farrell in Phone Booth.
after 3+ years of living in DC, I finally saw someone using a pay phone in a Metro station a few weeks ago.
The last time I remember using one myself was in Alice Springs, Australia the summer of 2000.
i don't remember the last time but there was a phone booth in my favorite bar in college and i used to go into it to call people and tell them we were out. i'm old.
what's a pay phone?
