this is very pertinent in my life right now. i love the city but i'm a country mouse at heart as i was looking at my calendar this morning to see when i could go home in the summer to can pickles with my mother. no joke.
ahhh i love living in the city but dream of the day where i could be a beach mouse. to me, the country means no ocean... i couldn't bear to live far from the ocean.
I also grew up a 'burbs mouse - basically on the set of the wonder years, only my house was on a hill. but now i think i am a city mouse. but i wish i was a bit closer to the ocean, if only honolulu was in the district...
I hate mice, so I don't want to be either. Just for today I also hate the city because my car was broken into. That never happened in good old Geneva, NY.

Used to be a country mouse, now most definitely a city mouse!

City mouse. (I really wish I could insert a photo of a giant NYC rat).
I'm definitely a country mouse who is masquerading as a city mouse right now.
But deep down....I'm a country mouse.
City Rat - Love to visit the country as long as I have a nice smoggy condo to return to.

Definitely a city mouse. I lost the innocent naivete of being a country mouse a long time ago.
I was a 'burb mouse growing up...but for the last 11 years, I've been a city mouse.
a little bit country mouse, a little bit rock and roll...he he
Definitely a COUNTRY MOUSE. I used to pretend I was a city mouse but I never was. I enjoy visiting the city but I want out!!!

Definitely a city mouse. Though I enjoy being a 'burbs mouse if it means I can go to Olive Garden!
A city mouse trapped in a big, country mousetrap. I need 24-hour convenience, damn it!
