According to my Netflix, this year I rated 310 to Yuma, 2 days in Paris, 4 months 3 weeks 2 days, Eastern Promises, Michael Clayton, and Lars and the Real Girl highest. I think of those I liked Eastern, Michael, and Lars best.

Worst - Reaping, The Number 23, and The Ex. Oh, and Reign Over Me. That was painful and not in a "boo terrorism" way.

I still have to see a lot of other oscar noms though.

Best - 3:10 to Yuma followed closely by Hot Fuzz

Worst - Spiderman 3 though I am fairly certain it would have been National Treasure: Book of Secrets if I had actually seen it

BTW, worst of 2008 thus far is Be Kind Rewind. 5 minutes of genius when they remake Ghostbusters sandwiched between 1.5 hours of awfulness. Why would you even try to make such a film heartwarming?

I really liked Paris Je T'aime. And worst... I'm going to go with one of those torture porn movies - like the Hills Have Eyes 2 or P2. Not that I'm brave enough to actually watch one of them...

No Country really was the best, although Michael Clayton gets special mention just for Clooney's scene at the end...you know, the "Do I look like I'm negotiating???" scene.

Worst--let's go with Meet the Spartans. Didn't see it, but it's a safe bet for the worst movie of the year.
