The motel where Marion Barry was arrested. "The b*tch set me up!" If I couldn't do that, then I really want to go to the top of the Washington Monument. Have done just about everything else.
I have so many... I would also like to go to the top of the Washington Monument. And I would like to do one of those silly Segway tours at night. And I kind of want to sit on that double decker bus and freeze my a*s off and drive around town. Oh, and I have never been to the Holocaust Museum. And of course the duck tour... does DC have a duck tour? Finally I would like to do all of that in a baby pink FBI sweatshirt - okay, that last one was a lie, but the rest were true.
I haven't been to the Portrait Gallery, the Spy Museum or the Holocaust Museum yet...haven't gone up the Washington Monument yet, but I don't really have much desire to either. I think maybe the biggest thing is to walk around the Korean War Memorial at night...I bet it would be really moving, but eerie as hell.
spy museum. also, i haven't been in the capitol in ages. also, leslie i'm definitely up for a bus tour in our FBI hats and CIA tshirts bought from the corner vendor. just say when.
There's very few things I haven't done in DC, but the one that comes to mind is the Bureau of Engraving and Printing tour to watch the money being made. And a friend and I have a joke about going to the Anacostia Museum in the ghetto.
i haven't been to the top of the empire state building since i was a kid... i did the SATC bus tour for a bachelorette party which was kinda cool...even though at the time i was embarassed to be on the bus... we even stopped at Steve and Aidan's bar for cosmopolitans! i want to see the Cloisters too.
