Moving from California to Virgina ... there was 4 of us in a Toyota Tacoma with 5 bikes on top and on a rack in the back. I know what you're thinking, how'd we all fit, right!
Well there was a wooden lofted bed in the bed of the truck where i was afraid to lay so I got stuck smushed in the mini back seat of the truck. It was great though tons of mountain biking and white water rafting. So fun!!!

After the Dean campaign, I traveled to Sonoma and rented a house in Mendocino for a week eating and drinking amazing wine - so relaxing!

i went to bonnaroo 2003. it was about 99 degrees out and the traffic was backed up to a roll all throughout tennessee. hippies everywhere. we drove with the windows down and doors open with our feet hanging out to get some fresh air and a bit of a breeze.

Driving home from Reno to San Jose over Donner Pass on a very snowy January afternoon, when we realize that the snow chains my friend had in his truck didn't fit his tires. So getting towed from near the top of Donner Pass back to Tahoe to get new chains, then getting stuck in mad traffic because of idiots that didn't even have chains...what should have been a three hour trip ended up taking ten. Good times.

Ashley and I drove cross country and we went to Wrigley. Super cool. And found a great sports bar in Denver. We almost missed the Rockies game because we were watching the Sox. But the most memorable moment was the first time I saw tumbleweed. That stuff is crazy. Thumbs up. ;)

Mine involves tumbleweeds too! I saw them in Nebraska. Or Wyoming. Someplace on I-80. I always thought they were fictional, but nope. We saw them 'blow' through the Kum n' Go.

Has to be driving to Memphis with my college friend Candi to see Neil Young in concert while in summer school. First, got pulled over by a state trooper for speeding and we had an ice chest full of beer in the back seat, among other things (no ticket, however); then got lost in Memphis at rush hour trying to meet the guy with the tickets; we were passed a joint from strangers during the concert; and then had to drive home about 300 miles because my friend insisted she had to make her 8 a.m. class the next day. My eyes were so tired, I was totally hallucinating -- seeing people standing in the middle of the road, dogs running in front of the car, cows -- and nodding off to sleep. And the only thing I could find on the radio was a tribute to Simon and Garfunkel. But we finally made it back to school around 4 a.m -- of course, I got up and went to class and she did not.
