the hummer...takes up two parking spaces, sticks out in the road, and i know if i try to go up against it with my mazda, it'll crush me.

The Ford Expedition...or the Extended Cab (four door) Ford F-150...You don't see many of them in the city but when you do, they look very out of place...I am all about the Smart Cars!

I always get a chuckle when I see a Ferrari or a Lotus or any of those other mid-life crisis Italian supercars in the city. A lot of good 700 hp is gonna do you when you're flying down K Street at 24 MPH.

Definitely the Hummer. Who needs a car that size??? Live larger, Drive smaller, that's what I say. And did you know that it's a proven fact that the size of a man's car is inversely related to the size of his penis? :)

an SUV. ANY of them. cmon. you live in the city. why would you need an SUV? they are only NEEDED should you live on a farm and you need to haul crap around.

The full-sized GM yo-cars that are highly popular amongst the hip-hop community. They take up a space and a half.

Owning any car in the city is impractical. I save at least $100 per month and usually more doing Zipcar instead of owning. And it's healthier because you walk more.

a bright yellow 1973 ford bronco 302 V8. whoever has one of those is totally ridiculous.

I really wanted to write a llama because I thought the question was most impractical vehicle, and I thought I could get away with it. But you wrote automobile. Damn you, Leslie.

Those bicycle cabs. Yes, they exist. Not many, but they're out there. I mean, the idea is cool, but who really wants to take something like a rickshaw to get where they're going? Especially if it takes twice as long as every alternative???

i suspect a rickshaw may be slightly faster than the metro on a weekend night. regardless of where you're going....

Those huge Ford trucks. It's not like the people driving them are hauling crap or anything. They're always empty and look like they just came from the carwash.

I have to agree with those who said the Hummer. Ridiculous for a city.
