it's hard to remember...but it was probably something exceptionally sophisticated, like a sex on the beach, or a long island iced tea, because i'd actually heard of that...
It must have been when I was in Australia, so I'm guessing Victoria Bitter. My first order at a bar in the U.S. was an Irish Car Bomb. I had 4 of them on my 21st birthday. I had to get up at 6am the next morning to fly to Yellowstone. I was still drunk. Awesome.
definitely a yuengling lager at midnight on my 21st birthday. there was no such thing as fake id's at penn state and i went straight to zeno's at 12am for my first LEGAL beer.
Since I was living abroad before college and could legally drink, I guess it would be rum & coke (that's prettty much all I drank in Venezuela). But in the U.S., I'll echo what Kate said -- probably a Yuengling Lager on the night I officially turned.

Oh. This is going to be hard, because it was many, many, many drinks ago. I think it was a rum and coke. My palate is much more sophisticated now.
Alabama Slammer. And I ordered in good ol' Manch-vegas, at the Brimmer, I think... The thought of it now kind of makes me want to puke.
It was a sloe gin fizz. It was at the Oronoka and i was like 19. the 90 year old bartender, Nate, made it for me...i told him to choose.

I too would have to say a Sex on the Beach. It was at the Complex in Providence, prob 19 but looked like 14.

must have been an amaretto sour for my girlfriend at the time. we were at a VFW for a wedding reception, in high school.
Fuzzy Navel. My dad took me out for my 21st birthday, and we went to Stonecutters Lounge in Milford.
